[BTM] Grundlagen des Technologiemanagements

Die erste Veranstaltung findet am 25.04.2017 statt.

Das Modul führt elementare Denk- und Handlungsmuster für technologieorientierte Unternehmen ein mit dem Ziel, die Befähigung zur Entwicklung neuer Geschäftsmodelle von der Frühphase bis hin zur Markteinführung und Etablierung zu vermitteln. Dabei wird insbesondere auf verschiedene funktionale Aspekte der Entwicklung und Schaffung, der Bewertung und erfolgreichen Ausschöpfung von technologischen Gelegenheiten eingegangen.


[BTM] New Product Management

This course deals with the management of the development and introduction of new technology-driven products in both well-established companies as well as start-ups. Therefore, it builds on the new products process consisting of the following five phases:
(1) opportunity identification and selection, (2) concept generation, (3) concept evaluation, (4) product development and (5) product launch. For each phase the course derives theoretically the key success factors of a state-of-the-art new product management and elaborates on up-to-date practical examples of mature companies and new ventures.

[BTM] Technologiemanagement IV: Business and Technology Case Study

Managers in technology oriented ventures must make decisions with limited information to cope with the challenges of their dynamic environment. Therefore, they need to evaluate options, make choices, and find solutions to deal with their everyday challenges. In this seminar, students will take on the perspective of a decision-maker by analyzing and discussing complex management challenges illustrated in several case studies from various companies.

[BTM] Bachelorseminar "Business model innovation"

Der Schwerpunkt des Bachelor Seminars liegt auf dem Thema „Business Model Innovation“. Im Rahmen des Seminars können sich die Studierende durch die selbständige Bearbeitung eines Themas mit der Entwicklung von Geschäftsideen und der kommerziellen Umsetzung beschäftigen.

This course provides a comprehensive understanding of business strategies under consideration of external and internal influences as well as international aspects. Based on this, the module discusses growth strategies and cultural influences for international companies and underlines the distinct role of innovations in this context.
