This course deals with the chemistry of carbohydrates and lipids and their biological significance.
A main learning goal of this course is to acquire interdisciplinary knowledge between chemical biology and organic chemistry.
Target groups are organic chemists with an interest in biology and also chemical biologists with an interest in the border area between chemistry and biology.
In SoSe2024 this course will be offered in English. The exam will also be held in English.
