Physics of Living Systems.
This course is centered around the challenge to explore physical principles relevant for living systems. The course will contain theoretical as well as experimental aspects. We will discuss the mechanical, electrical and thermal properties of membranes, the physics of polymers to understand proteins, how life on the micro scale takes place, the theory of evolution and many topics more.
The course is part of the Masters program and can be attended by both medical physics and physics students. The course will be held in German, but some literature as well as slides will be provided in english.
