Overview
This course is aimed at giving its participants the chance to speak as much as possible. This will be plenary some of the time, but equally often in pairs with different conversation partners or in small groups so that everyone has the chance to speak as frequently as they can. Through student presentations, participants will be able to introduce topics which interest them. There will also be authentic listening exercises so that the students can become familiar with various English-speaking accents.
Skills to be practiced include:
- Speaking in context / taking part in discussions
- Removal of fears towards speaking English
- Increasing skills in giving short presentations
- Authentic conversations on interesting topics
- Better listening comprehension of various English-speaking accents
