This course uses an analytic model to integrate the stages of new product development. A process model for new product development is introduced, which consists of the phases identification, concept generation, concept evaluation, development as well as launch of new technology-driven products. Moreover with the lecture strategic questions regarding new product development are discussed and tools like e.g. product innovation charter and evaluation techniques are introduced.
