- 05.07.2023 - Deadline for report submission
Laboratory structure and explanation:
The main idea of the lab work is to introduce the students to design, process, and failure analysis of additive manufacturing. A challenge will be determined at the beginning and students are expected to propose a solution with AM design. Tools, such as FEM, topology analysis, and slicing will be given through lectures. Students are also expected to give presentations on the topics.
There will be a competition on the final meeting to determine the best design. The winner will be given a special prize.
The final report should include the design, manufacturing, and failure analysis of the component.
