Realworld Solution Summit

Hello and welcome to the Realworld Solution Summit Moodle course! 

The Realworld Solution Summit is an intensive block course that will take place from 6 to 10 July 2026. During this week, participants will work in interdisciplinary teams on two real-world use cases provided by our industrial partners.

At the end of the event, each team will pitch its solution to company representatives, and the best team will receive an award. The course will conclude on Friday afternoon at one of the partner companies’ facilities in Düsseldorf.

Please note that participation throughout the entire week is mandatory.

Course Requirements

  • Students from Statistics, Data Science, or Econometrics are required to submit either a final summary report (approximately 5 pages) or a conference-style poster.
  • Students from Logistics or Industrial Engineering are not required to submit a report or poster, as they will receive one credit point less for the course.
