Students in this course will come into closer contact with American English. To enable students to communicate more fluently and authentically, we will train all language competencies (listening, reading, speaking, and writing), with a slightly stronger emphasis on speaking. There will be a particular focus on stating and defending opinions, participating in discussions, writing analytically, and reading and listening for content.
