Introduction to Python

This course offers an introduction to programming with Python. In addition to programming, the emphasis will be on creating reliable, readable, and reproducible research software. To achieve this, we will gain experience in version control using Git, testing, packaging, and documentation. The final project will involve the creation of your own Python package, which will reflect the course content learned and aim to enhance collaboration among students in the context of package building and programming.

The course language is English.

No prior programming experience is required. However, for preparation of this course you need to install several tools which we will use during the course. It is highly recommended to plan for the installation some days before the course starts!
