Dear international students,

on this site you will find the placement test for German. Please do not use any aids (dictionaries, grammar books, websites) while taking this test.

Important:

You can only do each test once. You also only have a limited time to complete each test. A countdown will be visible on the left hand side of the screen.

Test Procedure:

When you start the test, the first question will appear on your screen. If you think that you have found or given the correct answer, click on “Weiter” to get to the next question or click on the number of the next question on the left hand side of the screen. Your answers will automatically be saved then.

When you are finished with all questions, click on “Abgabe”. All of your answers will then be submitted. At this point, you will not be able to change your answers anymore.

With the beginning of this placement test you declare that you have completed the test on your own, that is without using any form of external help.
