DHL runs plenty of parcel centers throughout Germany. They handle a huge
amount of parcels every day but beyond normal packages bulky items
occur. Since these have to be handled differently, it is beneficial to
roughly know the number of bulky items that will appear in the near
future. During the Data Mining Cup the students will build prediction
models based on real historical data. Detailed information about the
task will be given in the first zoom session on April, 19th.
The event will be held digitally and in English.
